Installer Checklist
Bring the right documents and gear, follow safe handling practices, and contact the office if conditions aren’t ready.
- 📝 Print and bring the Installation Guide and Completion Report for client sign-off.
- 🚫 Do NOT move or detach any items (TVs, clocks, artwork, heavy furniture). This is a liability restriction.
- 📦 When unpacking vinyl graphics, avoid knives/sharp blades to prevent accidental cuts. Use safe opening tools and keep hands clean.
- 🧼 Verify walls are clean, dry, dust-free, and if freshly painted, ensure ≥ 14 days of cure before installation.
- 🔌 Confirm safe clearance near electrical equipment; ensure adequate lighting in the work area.
- 📣 If access is restricted or the area isn’t prepared, contact the office before proceeding.
- ⚠️ Damage policy: Any damage reported after 24 hours of delivery is the installer’s responsibility (replacement costs).
Quick Tip: Keep materials flat and supported—avoid creasing or contaminating adhesive surfaces.

Confirm prep, protect the environment, and document everything thoroughly.
- 📝 Print and bring the Installation Guide and Completion Report for client sign-off.
- 🚿 Do NOT wash vehicles or remove accessories (roof racks, antennas). If prep is incomplete, notify the office.
- 🔧 If unexpected graphic removal is required, contact Yipes before proceeding for client approval and added charges before proceeding.
- 📦 Avoid knives/sharp blades when unpacking vinyl; use safe tools to protect materials.
- 🌡️ Confirm install environment is ≥ 55°F (13°C). In cold climates, contact Yipes if the vehicle has not been kept indors overnight indoors overnight.
- 🔍 Inspect surfaces for rust, peeling paint, or recent bodywork; note adhesion risks in your report.
- ☀️ If outdoor installation is unavoidable, ensure to check the weather forecast and request a reschedule if needed .
